Yesterday I ran into a problem with the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag). The clock was shown after the EFB was turned on and the clock was selected, but all the other pages had a black background. Only the variable fields where shown. The presets for load (25%, 50%, etc.) were working and had effect, but vital information for all the screen was missing.

So, here we are again. I have neglected this blog for far too long. Mostly due to personal circumstances, life tends to get in the way sometimes… I have relocated a lot since 2012 and haven’t had the means to invest a lot of time/money/space into this intriguing hobby. So, everything was kind of tugged away and I promised myself I’d pick this hobby up again whenever I had the time and means.

Since my flight sim pc is a CentOS 6 desktop and I am attaching my Teensy handywork to this pc, I wanted to run the Arduino software on this pc (the Arduino software is a prerequisite to the Teensyduino software used for the Teensy boards). This proved to be a bit of a challenge, but I succeeded with the help of some information on the interwebs…
