For my forward view desktop, I purchased a used Q6700 CPU to replace my Core 2 Duo CPU (E2180). This Quad Core processor is the fastest processor my MSI P6N Diamond mainboard will support. Since I want to purchase some OpenCockpits hardware, I won’t be investing too much in the desktop at this time.

NAV radio project update

Well, I have spent some time gathering all of the parts needed for the radio and have looked into a way to display the right numbers on the displays. I felt a bit victorious when I was fooling around with the PoKeys software and was able to display something with the LED matrix test.
